Labels in Lewisburg
It's Jess again, filling in for Kim! If you're in the Lewisburg area visit downtown and stop by Wolf Creek Gallery where you'll find eclectic clothing & fashionable footwear, fine leather bags, unique jewelry, bath & beauty products and one of a kind gifts. Then head to Yarid's for a fabulous selection of fine footwear with labels like Juicy Couture, Burberry, and BCBG. Locations also in White Sulphur Springs (The Greenbrier) and Charleston. They carry some gorgeous handbags and accessories as well. Right now I'm working with Kim down in Tampa - I can't wait to come home and compare WV fashions to those in the sunshine state! Happy shopping!

A peek at Fall Fashions

Check out Miss WV USA Jessi Pierson sporting a summer top from Vance's Blues in Morgantown. She paired it with a simple blazer and scarf.
By coupling a few layering pieces with the tank it allows us to wear our flirty lightweight tops year round.
More fabulous photos from our fall fashion shoot coming out in the next issue of WV LIVING.

So Mod- So Now
The 60's have left their mark on Summer 2009 and we can't get enough of their modern prints, bold colors and structured styles.Check out this top I found at She-town Divas in Shepherdstown! Jennifer Reale is one hot designer and you can visit http://www.jenniferreale.com/ to see the collection. You can find quite a few of her designs at She-town Divas!
The easiest way to wear this look with with a hint of minimalism. If you're going bold on top then keep the bottoms classic. A simple black pencil skirt or white pant will work perfectly to allow the top to do the talking.
Enjoy!
WV LIVING FALL PHOTO SHOOT
The team got together once again this past June to shoot fall fashions for the upcoming issue. What fun we had as we welcomed Miss WV USA, Jessi Pierson, to the studio in Morgantown. Jessi was voted the Miss Photogenic winner in the Miss USA Pageant so we knew we were going to get some great photos.
Taking the lead was photographer Rebecca Devono. Also working to create magic was Jane Engelke-stylist, and Jessica Schueler-assistant style editor. Jane was able to create 7 different looks by changing out the hair and makeup styles on the model effortlessly. She also had a hand in styling the clothing supplied by various vendors, manufacturers, stores and boutiques.
All in all, it was a successful day. Keep an eye out for the next issue to hit the stands.
No Stress Searching for Distressed Jeans

I can't get enough of distressed denim this summer. Call me a rebel- but I love the ragged look of these lived-in, washed-out classics. Every denim brand is showcasing their style, but I found some cool denim capris in Shepherstown. I was pleased to see this refreshing take on an edgy new style.
Check them out at She-town Divas!

Southern Style

Hi everyone, it's Jess filling in for Kim! I have to share some fabulous finds from the Southern part of the state…
Visit the Schwabe-May store at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs. Whether you’re looking for a classy cocktail dress or a splash of color for the summer, you can find it here! Carrying lines like Badgley Mischka, this boutique is truly every girl's dream (especially if you're trying to channel your inner Audrey Hepburn). Retro-inspired threads with impeccable bead work are a must here. So, if you want to stand out or simply be fashion forward, I recommend this shop for your next purchase.
Next time you're in Fayetteville, be sure to stop by Wisteria's Gifts for an unbelievable selection of gourmet food, handmade jewelry, and so much more! Pick up a pair of Switch Flops for the summer. Yes, you read correctly - Switch Flops! These sandals have interchangeable straps, so you can switch up your style for every outfit you own.
Style is everywhere - in our homes, in our closets, and even in our hairstyles. If you're in need of a “girl’s day out” visit Image Makers Salon in Beckley. Then, head over to Cranberry Station to find the latest in fashions for your home and for you! CoCo Chanel said it best, “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
